Glenwood Springs, CO (February 1, 2008) – Golf Club Consulting, Inc. was retained by the Hilton Cancun Golf and Spa Resort (Mexico) to assist them in finding a new Golf Course Superintendent.

“Our golf course is an intrical part of our guest’s experience and we wanted to put added focus on it.  This will require elevating the responsibilities of our GC Superintendent,” said a representative of the Hilton Cancun.  “We feel the best route is to hire the best person possible, so we asked for assistance from Golf Club Consulting, Inc.” 

In January of 2007, Golf Club Consulting, Inc. was retained by the owners of this Mexican vacation destination to review a recent golf course construction project and with on-going agronomic practices. 

“The main focus of our services is not to act as an Executive Search and Hiring Firm.  Being that we’re so involved in the agronomic issues of the clubs that we serve, a frequent assistance that we fulfill within our Partnership Consulting program is finding the best GC Superintendent for a golf property,” said Richard Eide of Golf Club Consulting, Inc. 

“The search will focus on finding the best fit for the Hilton Cancun Golf and Spa Resort. The ideal candidate includes a person with the ability to lead an organization in an International environment and the ability to take the facility to the next level in the care of the golf course,” Eide added 
 
The search begins at the Golf Industry Show in Orlando in late January and will take approximately 6-9 weeks to complete.
