Glenwood Springs, CO (November 14, 2007) – Golf Club Consulting, Inc. was retained by the owners of Mountain View CC at LaQuinta (CA) to assist them with the hiring of a new Golf Course Superintendent and assuring impeccable golf course conditions are provided to the membership in the interim.

Mountain View CC at LaQuinta is an Arnold Palmer signature layout that was opened in February of 2004 and has already become one of the “gems” of the Coachella Valley. 

“We have many priorities in retaining Golf Club Consulting, Inc., first and foremost is continuing to provide the very best to our members and guests in exceptional playing conditions,” said a representative of Mountain View CC.

“Our assignment priorities are fairly straightforward; make sure the present playing conditions are continued and find the best person for the position of Golf Course Superintendent,” said Richard Eide, Principal, Golf Club Consulting, Inc.  “The former is more important than normal because the club is going into its high season, for the majority of the membership winters in Palm Springs,” Eide added.

The development of Mountain View CC has been an overwhelming success even with the down turn in the US housing industry.  Homes surrounding Mountain View CC are valued from $750,000 to $2 million.

“An important priority of finding the right person for any GC Supt. position is to thoroughly understand what it takes to accomplish the goals of the club ownership and its members.  Due to the importance of this need, we have already begun the process and we’ll be on-site with-in 24 hours,” Eide noted.

The timetable is unknown, but it is anticipated to take until after the New Year.
