The information on this page is a broad overview of myself and should aid in understanding the company leadership.

During the course of a 30-year career in golf course operations, I have served as Vice President of Golf Operations for Great American Clubs, Inc., worked as Western Regional Superintendent for ClubCorp, employed as a Golf Course Superintendent, built or managed the construction or renovation of 7 golf courses and completed operational maintenance or due diligence analysis on over 50 golf course facilities. 

My work experience includes golf courses from Texas to Minnesota and from California to the Caribbean island of St. Thomas.    My career included a key role in the construction and operation of the premier Aspen Glen Club (Colorado), an Jack Nicklaus Signature Design golf course.    

My consulting experience has given me an exposure to independent operators and developers.    This included opportunities to work on courses designed by Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Pete Dye and Tom Fazio.

In 1983, I became one of the youngest to earn the professional designation of Certified Golf Course Superintendent (CGCS), which is achieved through rigorous evaluations and examinations.    Throughout my career, I have received numerous achievement and professional awards, among them include the ClubCorp Gold Circle of Excellence Award (3 times), the ClubCorp Member Survey Award: Top 5 (5 times) and the ClubCorp Most Improved Golf Course Award. 

Building and maintaining environmentally sensitive golf courses has always been an important priority of mine.    I am extremely proud of achieving full Audubon International Certification for the construction of the Aspen Glen Club.    In 1997, I was awarded a National GCSAA Environmental Merit Award for environmental efforts in the construction of Aspen Glen Club.    

In 1974, I graduated from the University of Florida - Lake City with a degree in Golf Operations.     In my spare time, I enjoy the outdoors through cycling, hiking, jogging and golf.    I reside in western Colorado with my daughter and my wife of 34 years.
